We want visitors to find it easy to experience activities on the Blueways. Create an experience-based package by partnering with other businesses and have your offer showcased on the Blueways Ireland website. Examples might include:

  • "Enjoy 1 nights' accommodation at the XYZ hotel with a guided paddle on the Shannon Blueway"

Blueway Events:

The Blueways Ireland website is a great way to promote and advertise your event if on or along one of our Blueway trails. Within the event section you can create a great user experience and reach a large audience. Are you part of the Blueways Ireland tourism and recreation initiative? Development of Blueways in Ireland:

If you are a group or an individual who has a proposal to develop outdoor recreation trails centred on or alongside the inland waterways of Ireland or around coastal regions, we aim to provide a structure and meaningful support through a development process. We are doing this to manage the development nationally of consistently-branded, high-quality Blueway experiences, which meet consumer expectations. Also to ensure that Blueways are safe, consumer-focused and that they are well maintained into the future.
